Glass Artists Rick and Janet Nicholson
demonstrate their dedication to the art of glass
blowing in their emphasis on creativity,
innovation and quality. Their work is both
expressive and innovative, and has been
commissioned internationally.
Each piece is a free-hand expression of the
excitement and risk-taking only found in an
experimental glassblowing studio. Their work
involves elegant and asymmetrical vessel,
platter and bowl forms combined with sculptural
lighting.
Rick’s studies in metals and glass casting have
allowed the work to take a new direction, and
the marriage of glass, metal and light present
exciting new challenges. |
