People often remark on the richness of the
colors in Lora’s work. She draws her inspiration
from the natural world, and these colors speak
to the viewer as well. She begins a piece with a
direction rather than a goal, and finds that the
process itself is an exploration and the result
inevitably a new discovery.
Lora has been an artist all her life, but has
only recently consented to showing her work
publicly. In the past, her art had been limited
to private collections. Her previous work was almost
entirely realistic or illusionistic, and it has
only been in the last two years that she has
begun to explore abstract painting. |
